House for sale in Vanatori - 25'000 Euro

This roadside property in the village of Vanatori just 10km to the east of the medieval tourist town of Sighisoara has plenty of potential for the homeowner looking for a place with plenty of land for vegetable growing or keeping farmyard animals. As it has always been a functioning smallholding, many of the original features remain giving the purchaser the opportunity to renovate it sympathetically as a holiday home, or to continue to operate it as a semi self-sufficient smallholding. Its proximity to Sighisoara and the larger shops and supermarket mean that as a holiday home you would benefit from being immersed in village life, whilst still being within range of shops, cafes and restaurants. The village of Vanatori, being the chief village of the Vanatori commune (that also includes the smaller villages of Feleag and Mureni), is quite large and also has its own simple stores - a general store, post office, and a small hardware store.

House for Sale in Vanatori - 21'000 Euro

Vanatori (which translates as ‘hunters’) is a village the lying on the plains close to the medieval city of Sighisoara. It is quite a large village, having numerous roads, with the main asphalted road between Brasov and Sighisoara running through the middle of the village. This affords the houses in Vanatori excellent road access even in winter months and its proximity to Sighisoara means that a wider range of shops is just a short drive away. The house sits on the main road through the village and has a narrow garden to one side of the house, the gate of which could be widened to allow off-road parking. It has a cosy 45m2 courtyard and a barn, behind which is a vegetable garden of about 140m2.
